Written by Shelby Sinsay

Coworking is an arrangement in which different companies share an office space. Though, at Toolbox LA we make coworking so much more. Here we are a community, we are friends, we are not just an office. We appreciate each and every one of our members which is why we put our hearts into making Member Spotlight posts.

This week we are introducing you to our next member spotlight Ryan Rodriguez. He and his sister are here starting up a company that not only is helpful for the learning community but is also something a lot of people would have loved to have during their time at school. He loves to come up with creative videos and products for their audience, all of the feedback that he receives motivates him to create more.

What makes the fire in your belly burn / what motivates you?

When it comes to me and my sister’s business, I love being able to come up with creative videos and products for our audience, which are high school and college students taking Chemistry. Every time we receive feedback from them about our videos or resources, I’m motivated to create more.

Your company/startup/project’s name?

Melissa Maribel. As of now, we’re approaching it from a personal brand level.

Tell us more. What problem are you solving?

My sister, Melissa and I create videos on YouTube for high school and college students taking Chemistry. Melissa has experienced first hand the struggle majoring in Chemistry, the discouragement that comes along the way, and the lack of resources to help you get through it all. We’re solving this problem by creating everything Melissa wishes she would’ve had when she was in college.
